Darlington, SC (WLTX) — Irmo’s Danny Efland finished 20th in Friday night’s Nationwide series race at Darlington.

It marked the fourth event of the year for Efland who had previously competed at Daytona, Texas and Talladega.

While many of the teams in the Nationwide series are extensions of the Cup teams, Danny is a throwback to the days of NASCAR when drivers didn’t hesitate to pick up a wrench and work on their cars.

In fact, the Chevrolet Impala that he drove in Darlington was completed in his Irmo shop.

With each respectable finish that Danny earns, he hopes to catch the eye of a major company that would be willing to sponsor Danny full-time in the Nationwide series.

Until that day, Danny will continue to compete in a select number of races and hopefully, the top 20 finishes will eventually lead to top 10′s.

ATLANTA (May 10, 2012) — Tradebank International Inc. (Tradebank) and JD Motorsports announced today that they have entered into a comprehensive partnership whereby Tradebank will be the exclusive barter sponsor of JD Motorsports in NASCAR’s Nationwide series. Tradebank will be featured on both the No. 4 and the No. 01 car in every race throughout the rest of the 2012 Nationwide series. In addition, Tradebank will utilize its media division to bring additional sponsors to the JD Motorsports team.

JD Motorsports is a professional NASCAR racing team based in Gaffney, S.C., with over 50 years of combined racing experience. The team races in the NASCAR Nationwide Series and is owned and managed by Johnny Davis. It is coincidence that the founder and CEO of Tradebank International is named John Davis, Jr.; however there is no immediate family connection. Both Davises immediately recognized the value in their collaboration. Tradebank International, headquartered in Lawrenceville, Georgia, has franchised and company owned barter outlets in over 50 locations throughout North America. This year also commemorates Tradebank’s 25th anniversary in the barter industry.

“In racing, the difference between first place and 43rd place can boil down to two seconds and $100,000,” explained Tony Priscaro, vice president of sales and Marketing for JD Motorsports. “Like all businesses, we recognize the value in attracting new customers and maximizing our cash flow. Our drivers and race engineering team have the technical ability and expertise to consistently win races. Our challenge is to obtain the revenue needed to allow our team to operate at peak performance. The extensive opportunities available through Tradebank assist us in building and maintaining solid sponsorships. Tradebank also helps provide us the additional revenue sources along with the products and services we need to excel.”

“Tradebank helps business owners become champions,” stated John Davis, Jr. “We are excited for Tradebank to assist JD Motorsports in becoming a top competitor in NASCAR.”

Tradebank’s expansive barter network assists companies in virtually all industries to fulfill their business goals. “Tradebank’s partnership with JD Motorsports brings an affordable and cost effective way for Tradebank clients, prospective clients and others to experience the benefits and excitement of NASCAR,” added John Davis, Jr. “Sponsorship opportunities are no longer limited only to those with multi-million dollar advertising budgets. JD Motorsports and Tradebank assist companies to expand and accelerate their marketing objectives through creative and effective advertising campaigns with distinct ROI.”

MIKE WALLACE AND NO. 01 RESTAURANT.COM CHEVROLET HAVE GREAT DAY CUT SHORT AT DEGA

The team’s week started with a fire that destroyed much of their race trailer on Sunday night. Later in the week, their new primary partner, Restaurant.com offered their help by donating a portion of their proceeds to help JD Motorsports in their time of trouble.

Their teammate, Danny Elfland, picked up a primary partner in Tradebank International, Inc. to also come on as an associate with the No. 01 team. Rain washed out practice on Thursday at Talladega, so the field was set per the NASCAR Rule book which determines the line-up via NNS Owner’s Points.

Then, it was time to race for 117 laps of action on the restrictor-plate track of Talladega.

Starting 19th, the No. 01 Restaurant.com Chevrolet didn’t waste any time showing what the driver, and car, were capable of for this race. By lap four, Wallace was up to fourth and would fluctuate between the top-10 and top-15 in the early going.

After a caution pit stop for fuel and tires on lap 31, he would return to action and then race his way into the top-five before taking the lead on lap 53. Another caution on lap 62 allowed crew chief Newt Moore to call Wallace down for tires and fuel on lap 64.

And, again, the St. Louis native found his way back into the top-five positions before a caution pit stop on lap 81 for tires and fuel placed him back into the top-20 for the restart. This strategy allowed the team to get enough fuel into their black No. 01 Chevrolet to complete the race, leaving Wallace free from fuel-conservation worries.

While running in the top-20, Wallace said the water temperature on his motor was rising. The team and driver didn’t feel safe going the distance, and opted to come down pit road to pump some cool water through the motor to ensure they would be around for the checkered flag.

After successfully completing the task on pit road under caution, the race restarted with four laps remaining. As the field exited Turn 2 and headed for the backstretch, another car came across the nose of Wallace’s Chevrolet causing left-front damage.

Wallace spun up into the outside wall with the rear bumer making heaving contact; whichh broke the car’s track bar. This deemed them out of the race and saddled them with a 28th-place finish.

Next week, the NNS heads to Darlington Raceway for a nighttime race on Friday, May 11 at the South Carolina track.

Mike Wallace Quote: “Man, this just about caps off our week with all that took place in the last few days. We had a great car, we were fast, we led and we ran up front. What more could a driver and team ask for at Talladega?

“It just seems like our series can put on a pretty good show, but we just can’t seem to get the last 10 laps completed at Talladega and Daytona. You’re watching out your windshield, you’re watching your gauges and you’re trying not to get caught up in someone else’s problem during this race.

“We were going from the middle to the front over and over today, so I know what we needed to do to be there at the end. After all we went through this week, you can’t say JD Motorsports is at team that lets thing affect them at the race track. I’d like to thank everyone who called and offered their help after the fire on Sunday; it is very much appreciated.”

Local Web Domination from Scratch for less than a $1 a day

About The Course…

Online Marketing has leveled the playing field you don’t need a big budget. In fact, how about less than a $1 a day? Online Marketing doesn’t need to be complex, complicated or expensive. You started a business that is what you need to focus on, not becoming a marketing expert.

Whether you have a web presence or nothing at all, this course takes you through a simple step-by-step system to set up your web presence in a day, have it done right, and for almost no money. This course includes everything keyword research, website, social media, videos, articles, blogs, optimization and more.

Once your web presence is set up we show you how to DOMINATE your industry. We are NOT talking about one front page listing on search engines. That’s right, Multiple Front Page Listings including your website, Google places, Videos, blog Posts, Facebook posts, directory listings, links etc. etc.

If someone was looking for a product or service and your company has 3 to 4 listings on the front page of the search engines, how do you think that would affect your business? We already know the answer because clients pay us 15k+ a year to drive them major traffic from this proven effective strategy.

The course is setup so simple that anyone can do this. There is a step-by-step checklist that matches the videos.

1.Watch the video

2. Perform the step

3. Check it off.

The majority of the videos are 2 to 3 minutes, for the average attention span. You can hand this off to an employee or family member and have them do this. If you are an extremely busy individual it doesn’t matter if you get interrupted you can quickly pick right up where you left off. Basically, you do not have to retain anything to make this work.

After your web presence is established you then use the monthly, weekly/daily checklist for creating and maintaining web domination. You can manage it or have someone manage it for you.

If you want to own the front page of search engines for your local business and Dominate your competition this course will make it happen! Cost is only T$497 through Tradebank of Greenville.

PR Contact: Debbie Fitzgerald, Fitzgerald PR Inc.
770-887-6060

ATLANTA (April 13, 2012) — Viva Las Vegas! Tradebank International Inc. (Tradebank) has just launched Tradebank of Las Vegas as its newest outlet. Tradebank members will now be able to barter — for business or pleasure — in the entertainment capital of the world. This announcement was made today by Todd Gerry, President of Tradebank International Franchising Corporation.

Regional Owner Carita Strawn and Regional Director Joe Lotito are excited to build a vast Tradebank network in Las Vegas. “Naturally, we’re going to focus on entertainment — such as shows, hotels and restaurants — to entice Tradebank clients to visit and enjoy their experiences while spending their trade dollars,” stated Lotito who has more than 20 years of sales experience as manager and owner of several businesses. “We will also build a network of local businesses in Clark County, using the model that has been successful with the other Tradebank franchise outlets nationwide.

“The economy in Las Vegas, which has been hurting, is the perfect environment for barter to take off,” added Strawn. “We are excited to teach small business owners and management teams of large operations about the many benefits of barter — especially the solution it provides for excess capacity of products and services.”

“Tradebank of Las Vegas gives Tradebank International our most West footprint which will undoubtedly act as a gateway for future franchise development along the West Coast,” said Gerry. “Carita and Joe bring a tremendous amount of initiative and professionalism to the table and we are confident that they will create a thriving barter economy in the Las Vegas marketplace by providing local business with much needed opportunities to improve cash flow, ultimately making their businesses more profitable.”

Life In The Pits Isn’t So Bad…My NASCAR Experience

By Marcy S. Yaffe, VP of Trade, Tradebank International

It is a proven fact that barter opens new doors of opportunity; I have repeatedly experienced this first hand in the 26+ years I have been in the barter industry. Watching the Tradebank Chevrolet race in NASCAR’s Sprint Cup at Bristol Motor Speedway FROM THE PIT AND CREW AREA (!) last Sunday was clearly another extraordinary “barter experience”.

Sindo Mayor (Tradebank of Charlotte) and Ashby Green (Tradebank of Atlanta) met Tommy Baldwin, Jr. and Tommy III through a mutual friend and brokered a barter agreement between Tradebank and the Tommy Baldwin Racing Team to have Tradebank sponsor their #10 in the Sprint Cup.

Admittedly, I was not a prior race car fan. However, when you get the VIP treatment as a special guest of the team owners and you are a sponsor of their car, it’s easy to be converted. The first thing I noticed was the hospitality of everyone we met. Tommy Baldwin, Jr and III are incredible—true gentleman and a class act. Prior to the race, Dave Reuitmann was exceptionally generous with his time signing autographs, answering questions and posing for pictures. The crew was extremely polite and patient even when they had to say “excuse me Ma’am” a couple times when I was in their way as they prepared the car for the race. Even the track security was cordial when they yelled for me to “watch out”—I was right in front of the #99 car as they pushed it off the track to go “behind the wall” for repairs after it crashed. (The bad news, yes, I was in the way a couple times. The good news is, I was right in the heart of all the action so much so that I was in the way.)

I experienced too much on Sunday for me to be able relate it all here, but I will give you the overview. We were able to go inside the team crew trailer and see their diagnostic and mechanic’s tools, where and how they stored the spare parts and watch the car getting its pre-race adjustments in the pit. I filmed the car being pushed from the pits to the pre-race NASCAR inspections. I watched the opening ceremonies on the track with the media crews. I was with the Fox TV crew and missed the opportunity to be included when they took the picture with the Tradebank representatives, Dave Reuitimann, and Tommy Baldwin, III with “our” Tradebank car on the track prior to the race. (Can we Photoshop me in???)

We stayed in the pits during the entire race. Todd, Sindo, Becky, Barry and a couple other special Tradebank guests watched the majority of the race from the pit box. They were given special headphones which enabled them to hear the conversations between the driver and the crew chief during the race. I had too much exploring to do to stay in one spot. With ear plugs in place, I watched the race standing next to the opening where the cars enter and exit the track, from our pit box, and I wandered around observing the other team’s pit set ups, etc. The huge crew trailers are as impressive as the race cars. The precision and pace of the pit crews and engineers are masterful. It was almost as if they were performing surgery on the damaged cars right before me only at lightening speed. You always hear how loud the track is, and it’s true. The cars create their own rhythm as they go around the track. Each time the cars rounded the bend, I looked for #10 with Tradebank prominently displayed on every visible part of the car to ensure we were still racing. No crashes for us this race!

As the Tradebank team and the Tommy Baldwin Racing team work more closely together in the months ahead, I will return to the position I am most familiar with– barter and business. However, as you can see from the pictures, the “HOT pass” experience is truly remarkable. And, just think, if you sponsor a Tommy Baldwin Racing car in a future race you can have the same opportunity I did and help brand and market your business at the same time. For more information on sponsoring a car, email myaffe@tradebank.com.
